World Music Day 2012

World Music Day 2012 was celebrated on June 21. Classes 3 to 12 assembled in the roof garden at 9-30 for a two hour session of ragas that was inaugurated by Madam Principal. The event meticulously planned and executed by the music teacher Ms.Archana and Ms. Jissy was preceded by a week of awareness building with slogans and posters. A competition designed to test Blooms' familiarity with great names of Indian music found enthusiastic participation. Raga Mohanam was celebrated with songs by Sri Krishna Prasad, Sidharth, Anjana, Aishwarya, Ruda, Emil and Sruthi. Music Therapy was introduced to Blooms by Ms. Archana. Musical events of Bloomsfest went on till late in the afternoon.
